TALL SHIPS COME TO THE WESTPORT MARINA - Beginning May 16th, the tall ships Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain are coming to Westport for an extended stay and will be docked at Float 10 in the marina. They will be available for educational programs, vessel tours and sailing trips for the general public as well as for private charters. CRANBERRY HARVEST FESTIVAL COOK-OFF Cook-Off Entries Needed. Organizers of Grayland's Annual Cranberry Harvest Festival are looking for folks to enter their best cranberry dishes in the Cook-Off Competition.
There are two catagories: Professional and Novice. Ribbons will be awarded to the top finishers in several categories.

SANTA BY THE SEA - Yo ho ho mateys! Tis the season to join the South Beach Buccaneers as they welcome Santa to the Westport Marina, 10:30 am the first Saturday of December. Delivered to shore by the US Coast Guard, he will be escorted to the Destruction Island Lighthouse Lens Exhibit Hall on the grounds of the Westport Maritime Museum by cheering children and the Westport Fire Department. You can visit Santa in the Lens Building; bring your camera and capture the fun. Next door at McCausland Hall be sure to visit the bazaar and bake sale. You can party with the Pirates further down Westhaven drive at the Tackle Box Building. Enjoy free refreshments, play "Walk the Plank" for prizes and shop with a Pirate at Santa Toybox Kids Only store. Call (253) 381-5989.
